Man alone

Nowhere Man

John Lennon*

He's a real nowhere man
Sitting in his nowhere land
Making all his nowhere plans for nobody

Doesn't have a point of view
Knows not where he's going to
Isn't he a bit like you and me?

Nowhere man please listen
You don't know what you're missing
Nowhere man, The world is at your command

He's as blind as he can be
Just sees what he wants to see
Nowhere man, can you see me at all

Every day and every hight
Nowhere man you've lost the light
What will it take to open up and see?

Nowhere man don't worry
Take your time, don't hurry
Leave it all till somebody else

He's a real nowhere man
Sitting in his nowhere land
Making all his nowhere plans for nobody..

Lyrics
Recorded in October 1965, Nowhere Man was one of the first Beatles songs to be entirely unrelated to romance or love. It was released as a single in early 1966, and soon became an international hit.

Music Details:
My arrangement is a little slower, styled more as a contemporary ballad and features a short bone solo.

Tidbit: The trombone riffs in the body of the tune are double tracked and one channel I use a half closed plunger to give the effect of a french horn.
