About the Music
All the synth patches used in this soundscape are "vocal sounding" and their patch names reflect that (aha, slow choir, velocity vox, vocal ooze, etc.). The opening patch sounds a lot like the mellotron so a mellotron is displayed in the video. Once the groove starts, additional synths are added at each repetition. A Native America bass flute solo is added on the long last section.

Visuals show a swirling circuit board emerging from the sand dunes finally giving way to a spinning mandala. Its a strange visual and aural journey - hold on tight!

What's a Mandala?

A mandala is a complex, radial geometric design, often circular, representing the universe, wholeness, and spiritual journeys in Hinduism and Buddhism. Used as a tool for meditation and prayer, these, often intricate, artworks feature a central point that radiates outward.
