How the West Was Lost

How the West was Lost is an amazing series about the westward expansion of colonialists across the North American continent during the latter half of the 19th Century. It documents the experience and point of view of the Native American peoples. The magnitude of this tragedy is so enormous its overwhelming.

Sadly this is seldom taught in schools - especially this level of detail. For all of those who ardently believe in American Exceptionalism - this should be required viewing.

Music for the Series was written by Peter Kater. Lots of Native American flute played by R. Carlos Nakai make it very compelling.
